Are you ready for AFRIFF 2015?

Lagos, are you ready?!!!

The 5th edition of the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) commences in Lagos, Nigeria tomorrow November 8, 2015. It is the first time the prestigious week long festival will be setting up shop in Africa’s largest city, having held the previous four editions in Tinapa, Calabar.

Activities for the festival will include movie screenings, seminars and trainings, with participation from a host of local and international creative professionals including filmmakers, celebrities, actors, directors, film critics and visual artists.

Maintaining its inaugural theme “Africa Unites”, the vision for AFRIFF 2015 is to raise awareness in Africa about the vast potential the entertainment industry holds and the impact it can generate in the economy. To establish bridges for partnership with international counterparts to ensure quality, expertise and global standards access the local industry, accelerating its sustainable development. AFRIFF also aims to re-establish Africa’s significance as the original birth home of civilization and indeed the last frontier for unique film stories and content development.

The week promises to be an exciting one, opening with feature film Mediterranean by Jonas Carpignano and closing with Road To Yesterday, the highly anticipated feature film debut (as a producer) by Nollywood diva, Genevieve Nnaji, so if you are in Lagos, Register to attend by clicking here.
